CIRCUMSTANCES
On December 31, 2019, at approximately 8:20 pm, Mariano's girlfriend called him on his cell phone. At the time, Mariano was reportedly with two men. Mariano's sister believed he was in distress and he had possibly been physically forced into a vehicle by the two men. Both men were known to Mariano. Surveillance may indicate that Mariano may have physically got in the car willingly, which is a possibility, as the two men were known to Mariano. Mariano's sister reported that while she was on the phone with him, Mariano began screaming that the two men in the vehicle were going to kill him. Mario's phone went dead and no one has heard from him since.
It is unclear why the men were threatening Mariano. Sources report that Mariano has limited mental capacity and is deemed disabled due to his mental condition. Sources also report that Mariano is easily influenced and may be vulnerable and taken advantage of.
Mariano also goes by the name Mario
Law Enforcement was notified and a missing person report was filed. The men in the vehicle are identified but have not been located for questioning. In addition to Law Enforcement tracking Mario’s last locations, other leads have been offer19003629ed but the family feels Law Enforcement has been apathetic in tracking Mario’s whereabouts, or who may be responsible for his disappearance.
Mario has a mental health diagnosis and requires medications. His family is hopeful that someone will come forward with information that will lead to his whereabouts.
